Rotel’s new RMB-1587MKII 7-channel amplifier continues our heritage of producing high powered, perfectionist amplifiers for multi-channel systems.

Following Rotel's MKII design architecture, the RMB-1587MKII incorporates both circuit and component upgrades in the power supply and amplifier stages to achieving ultra-low distortion, signal isolation, and high-gain output power efficiently packaged in a single, multi-channel amplifier chassis.

The Class AB RMB-1587MKII is engineered around two massive in-house manufactured high-current, low emission toroidal transformers designed to supply stable current to an array of 8 high-efficiency bulk storage capacitors. This power supply architecture renders deep bass energy even when driving the most demanding loudspeakers with ultimate authority and control.

Differing from multi-channel amplifiers whose output drops when driving multiple channels simultaneously, the RMB-1587MKII delivers all 7 channels of Class AB amplification at 155 Watts per channel into 8 ohms. This massively engineered amplifier achieves 250 Watts per channel into 4 ohms with all channels driven and is capable of a staggering 335 Watts RMS per channel when used in Stereo into 4 ohm loudspeakers.

To optimise cooling, the RMB-1587MKII is equipped with four thermostat-controlled, variable-speed ultra-low-noise fans.

The RMB-1587MKII is built for custom installation. Convenient auto-switching XLR Balanced and RCA inputs ensuring compatibility with any AV Processor or Home Theatre receiver preamp output, and a 12 V trigger input and output allows simplified power control. Custom rack mount installation hardware is available for simplified mounting in standard 19” equipment racks.

The RMB-1587MKII is available in both elegant black and stylish silver colours.
